Founded originally in New York City by partners Nels Christianson and Eva Lee, the Studio is known for highly skilled work by artists with extensive experience, creativity, and innovative style. Serving primarily New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey metropolitan areas, the studio team also works on select national and international projects.

Contemporary & Classical Faux Finishes
We invent bold new finishes for contemporary décors, in addition to creating classical, traditional finishes.
We offer Venetian plaster, painted faux finishes, woodgraining, stenciling, painted floors, murals, architectural gilding, custom wallpaper, marbling, trompe l’oeil, painted furniture, custom antiqued mirrors, and verre églomisé, the art of glass gilding.
Verre Eglomisé
A special gilding service is verre églomisé, an ancient technique of applying gold leaf designs on the reverse side of glass, producing exceptionally rich and jewel-like results.
