What fun it was to create the décor for this Child’s Playroom! Its central feature is this castle playhouse which we enjoyed painting faux stone and ivy all over…
…with a friendly dragon behind the window!
Above the castle is a ceiling mural of trompe l’eoil faux stone trellis. Quite some geometry to lay out with these curved diamonds and squares, but we’re always up to the task!
We painted the trellis motif in our studio on canvas, and installed it onsite.
On the walls, we had the pleasure of painting a mural of trees and animals.
Here is a detail of a cute li’l curious one. Besides this raccoon, the wall murals feature a regal bald eagle, deer, squirrel, bear, and other animals.
